10. Dragon Fish
We all know the legendary dragon. But are probably not aware of a dragon fish! So now you know that there is a Dragon fish at the deep seas. Some of its common names include; Dragon Gobies, Eel Gobies, Peruvian Gobies, Violet Gobies among others. This kind of fish is mostly found in the waters at South and Central America. The true dragon fish, commonly known as Gobioides broussonnetii, is about over 2 feet, which is about 60cm. These fish are mostly coy eaters. They are however sensitive and can only do well in clean warm water. Unlike many other species of fish though, they will flourish better in salty conditions rather than in fresh water. Interestingly, the dragon fish is very sensitive o temperatures. Excessive fluctuations may weaken it and cause it to have a poor appetite as well as a very weak immune system. If you want to keep one, you will have to keep changing the water to ensure perfect conditions and get rid of toxics. You may wonder what the fish eats. They are principally carnivorous so they enjoy a good protein diet. In the deep seas, they enjoy aquatic invertebrates, insects, old carcasses and other proteins. One weakness about the dragon fish is that they do not have good eyesight. For this reason, they are an easily bullied by other fish.
